Do Not Be Deceived By Flesh

Do Not Be Deceived By Flesh

We are all human and we are all made by God, we have all free will and each of us have the right to choose our lifelong path, which decides are coming heaven or hell.

Self love

Many people care too much about themselves, how they look, how much money they have, how popular they are…  They idolize their flesh without knowing it; here is an example:  if you are self obsessed (only caring about your appearance), your flesh is becoming your idol and you are striving for physical and not spiritual perfection.  Instead of perfecting your relationship with your Heavenly Father, you are caring much more about perfecting your flesh.

You flesh will perish and die, no one will care about your appearance.  The only thing that will matter is where your spirit went.

And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of
Slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me.
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any
Likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in
The earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord
Your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
Fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation
Of those who hate me, ...
Commandment 2

You shall not make for yourself any likeness (including flesh’s beauty)

Evaluate By Their Fruit

It is surprisingly not rare that people are judged by earthly principles (fame, money, glory, look, fans, accomplishments), social priorities.  When you look at someone, don’t judge them by earthly principles but instead by their fruit.

You meet a new person he is super nice, he looks good and he is rich.  What you realize is that this person has a lot of pride and he thinks that he his better than almost everyone else.  You know that this person is nice but he is not with God, why because behind his niceness he has shown pride (opposite of humbleness and a form of self-love).

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.
 James 4:6
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast;
 It is not arrogant.
1 Corinthians 13:4

This was one example, when evaluating someone by their fruit, but there are many others.

I ask you, before believing someone, evaluate them by their fruit (Their values, What they offer…), do not evaluate them by their social priority.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer
For the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer
For the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous
Shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked
Shall be upon himself.
Ezekiel 18:20
Apply your heart to instruction and your ear to words of knowledge.
Proverbs 23:12
