Do you totally trust your Heavenly Father? Do you go to Him in time of distress or total peace, with prayers and thanksgivings? It means you trust Him and you have faith in Him, no matter what! Like a child who completely trusts in his father or mother, so is the believer and the faithful person, when in need or at ease, knows he has a loving and caring father, always waiting on him watchfully guiding his every step; holding his hand and instilling in his heart hope and peace.
This fact, which we call faith, is a mystery indeed. Commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ, is the best graceful gift that any Christian could receive. Our faith in our Heavenly Father, in His words, our total confidence in His presence in our lives, believe me, is the glue which bonds us together. Every word spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ to us has no value if we do not believe in it and apply our Lord’s commandments in our lives. There is profound blessing in His words:
And receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his Commands and do what pleases him. And this is his command: To believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, And to love one another as he commanded us. 1 John 3:22-23
What a wonderful commandment is this.
Having faith therefore means believing in every single word of our Heavenly Father spoken through His Prophets, through the Apostles, and most importantly through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; Have faith in his prophets and you will be successful. 2 Chronicles 20:20
Dear beloved, let us not forget that any grace bestowed on us by our Heavenly Father is not done in vain. Having total faith is the fulfillment of our spiritual life. It is the best gift we have ever received. And blessed be The Lord Our Heavenly Father for His precious care, by commanding us to have faith in Him.
And the Lord said, If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed You might say to this sycamine tree, be you plucked up By the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should Obey you. Luke 17:6
Jesus answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this Which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say to This mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; It shall be done. Matthew 21:21
Faith is how miracles are possible, faith is knowing not only believing. You do not have to see to believe….you just know. When you ask and you are not sure if God will answer your prayer then that is not having real faith. Real faith means that you are 100% sure that whatever you ask from God in Jesus’ name, you will receive!!
Example 1: You pray for healing, you know that your prayer will be answered but you do not know when (Faith)
Example 2: You pray to sell your car, you don’t sell it the same day that you prayed. You think to yourself; maybe this time I was not lucky (Not real faith)
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit–fruit that will last–and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16
Do I really have faith in The Lord? I must live my life according to His Words. Considering His commandments very precious and keep our faith so dearly.
Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with Ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Let us keep fervently our faith, Ask The Lord Jesus Christ to never leave our hearts, So that we become disciples of righteousness and peace. 2 Peter 1:1-2
And he said to the woman, Your faith has saved you; Go in peace. Luke 17:50
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, The evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
